Dacia has released the first teaser images of a new model called the Striker, with its official premiere scheduled for March 10, 2026.
The manufacturer positions the new vehicle as a C-segment crossover wagon, combining the practicality of a traditional estate car with design elements typically associated with SUVs.
According to preliminary information, the car will be built on the CMF-B modular platform, already used in several models within the Renault–Nissan Alliance. This architecture allows for multiple powertrain options, including gasoline, hybrid, and versions running on liquefied petroleum gas. The base version is expected to feature a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine producing around 130 hp, while the hybrid variant could deliver up to 140 hp. Similar systems are already used in other alliance models and are known for their relatively low fuel consumption of about 4.5–5.0 L/100 km in the combined cycle.
The teaser images reveal a distinctive silhouette with a long roofline, extended rear section, and pronounced wheel arches. The lower body is protected by plastic cladding commonly seen on crossover models, while ground clearance is expected to reach 190–200 mm, improving the vehicle’s ability to handle rough roads.
