Xiaomi could bring a more affordable version of the YU7 crossover to the market as early as 2026–2027. This is indicated in registration documents, where a new modification has appeared with revised characteristics.
The price reduction could amount to several thousand dollars. If current versions are priced at around $35,000–$45,000, then the new modification could be closer to $30,000 or even lower. This would significantly widen the potential audience.
The cost reduction will likely be achieved by lowering power output or battery capacity. For instance, instead of top trims with a 600–700 km range, variants with 400–500 km could appear, which is sufficient for most users.
