Volkswagen has presented the updated version of its EV hatchback — the ID.3 Neo. It is not just a restyling, but a deep rework of the model, including design, interior, and technical components.
The main changes are inside the car. Instead of touch-sensitive controls, which were criticized by users, physical buttons have returned. The main screen is now larger, up to 12.9 inches, and the instrument cluster is up to 10.25 inches.
Interior materials have improved, and the overall layout has become more intuitive. In fact, Volkswagen has acknowledged the shortcomings of the early ID.3 versions and redesigned the interface with a focus on comfort.
Three powertrain variants are available: 125 kW (170 HP), 140 kW (190 HP), and 170 kW (231 HP). Battery options include 50, 58, and 79 kWh.
Maximum range reaches up to 630 km on the WLTP cycle. Fast charging depends on the version: from 105 kW for base batteries up to 183 kW for higher-capacity versions.
Additional features include one-pedal driving, Connected Travel Assist with traffic light recognition, and the ability to supply power to external devices at up to 3.6 kW.
