Toyota Corolla received anniversary versions

Toyota showed special Corolla versions for the model’s 60th anniversary. The first Corolla appeared in 1966, and during all that time sales surpassed 55 million cars.

The anniversary versions were introduced for the sedan, hatchback and Touring Sports wagon. The main differences are bronze decorative details, special 60th Anniversary badges and new paint variants.

Toyota decided not to change the design drastically. Visually, the cars differ through elegant details: tinted elements, new wheels and decorative accents. This approach preserves the recognizable Corolla style.

There are also changes in the interior. New trim materials, anniversary symbols and upgraded equipment are included. A digital dashboard and the Toyota Smart Connect+ multimedia system with a 10.5-inch display are installed.

Technically, the special versions do not differ from the standard Corolla. The main emphasis is still on hybrid versions. In the EU, the most popular option remains the 1.8L Hybrid with 140 hp and e-CVT.

Even after 60 years, the Corolla remains one of the most popular cars in the world. The model is praised for reliability, low maintenance costs and practicality. In many countries, the Corolla is used not only as a family car, but also as a taxi or fleet vehicle.

According to preliminary data, the next-generation Corolla could appear as early as the end of 2026 or at the beginning of 2027. A new design, modern electronics and updated hybrid systems are expected.
