Renewed Zeekr 009 is now faster and more powerful

The Chinese brand Zeekr showed the renewed version of the 009 minivan. The main changes affected the technical side: the car received a new 900-volt platform, more powerful electric motors and ultra-fast charging.

The highest trim is equipped with dual electric motors that produce a combined 680 kW or 912 hp. Acceleration from 0–100 km/h takes only 3.9 seconds. For a huge family minivan, this is a very significant result.

The car received the new-generation CATL Qilin battery with 6C charging support. Thanks to the 900-volt system, the battery can be recharged from 10 to 80 percent in about 10 minutes. At the moment, this is one of the best figures among production cars.

Range for the AWD version is 720 km. A single-motor version with 310 kW or 416 hp is also available. Range for this version is around 740 km, and acceleration to 100 km/h takes 6.9 seconds.

Besides power, the manufacturer also bet on technologies. The Zeekr 009 received the Thor-U processor with 700 TOPS of computing power. The equipment includes the H7G-ASD semi-autonomous driving system and more than 70 safety systems.

In China, the current version of the Zeekr 009 costs from 439,000 to 899,000 yuan. After the upgrade, the renewed model should retain its status as one of the most expensive and technologically advanced minivans.
