Porsche revealed key specs of the EV version of the Cayenne Coupe, which will become one of the most technologically advanced models in the brand’s lineup. The newcomer is oriented toward the high-performance SUV segment and combines sports car characteristics with crossover practicality.
The highest trim, Turbo Coupe Electric, makes 630 kW (857 hp), and in overboost mode power increases up to 850 kW (1156 hp). These figures place the model in the category of ultra-powerful EVs.
0–100 km/h takes only 2.5 seconds. These numbers are comparable to modern supercar dynamics, which is uncommon for a car of this class and size. Maximum speed is around 260 km/h.
The electric platform supports an 800-volt architecture. Thanks to it, the car can handle charging power of up to 400 kW. Recharging from 10% to 80% takes around 16 minutes, which significantly lowers waiting time.
Range is from 576 to 637 km on the WLTP cycle depending on the trim. The car also supports inductive charging, which increases ease of use.
Special attention is focused on comfort and technologies. The model will get advanced driver-assistance systems, a digital dashboard and modern multimedia solutions.
Porsche is showing that an electric SUV can combine extreme power, quick acceleration and a high level of practicality while staying relevant for everyday use.
