At the Beijing Auto Show 2026, Lexus showed the concept of a new supercar that became a development of the legendary LFA model. Despite the brand having already shown this concept at the end of 2025, namely in Beijing, the car was now shown to a wide audience in a more complete form.
The new concept almost entirely follows the design of the earlier shown LFA, however, it drastically differs from the original model from the 2010s. The look of the car retains the distinctive silhouette with a low-slung stance and coupe body shape, but all elements are made in a more modern style.
Special attention is given to the front end. The car received original optics with four LED elements that emphasize the brand’s signature identity. This approach makes the car’s exterior easily recognizable even without the logo.
The rear is made cautiously, but technologically. Separate LED lights are used, as well as highlighted Lexus lettering in the middle. In contrast to many modern models, the design is not overloaded with excessive details, which creates a cleaner and more complete image.
What is interesting is that the newcomer has almost no similarities with current serial Lexus and Toyota cars. It means the company is experimenting with a new design language that could become the basis for future cars.
