Average gas prices in the United States reached their highest level in the past four years. According to the American Automobile Association, the average gas price exceeded 4 dollars per gallon across all states.
The increase is linked to several factors at the same time. Among the main reasons, analysts point to high seasonal demand, limited fuel supply and instability in the global energy market.
At the same time, a decline in gas prices is not expected in the near future. Particularly strong pressure on the market is being caused by the beginning of the holiday season and a sharp increase in road travel across the country.
